As you can tell by these photos, Acid Reflux zoanthids can take on many different looks. Origin, tank conditions, and health of the polyps all factor into what a frag of these zoas look like. The common factors are the yellow skirt, the green rim at the base of the skirt (which may not appear in specimens that aren’t as healthy), and the large, mottled blue/purple center. Acid Refluxes are one of those zoas that will give you a ride as they adjust to your tank’s conditions and then morph as those conditions ebb and flow.
